TTE has continually designed and manufactured Active and Passive filters since it was established in 1956. The Active Highpass filter series here is available for frequencies from 0.1Hz to 1MHz.
The active Highpass filter designs include Bessel, Butterworth and Chebyshev topologies.
Active Highpass Bessel Filters exhibit a constant time delay in the passband of the filter.
Active Highpass Butterworth Filters are more selective than Bessel Filters and offer both monotonic passband and stopbands.
Active Highpass Chebyshev Filters have a low ripple passband and monotonic stopbands. The passband ripple is 0.25dB typically.
The whole Active Highpass filter series is offered in PCB or connectorized cases.
TTE offers two evaluation fixture which may be used as a permanent mounting platform or for testing an active Highpass filter.
Using highpass and lowpass filters on the EVO fixtures, one can create a wideband bandpass filter or a band rejection filter. Using lowpass filters connected in series a lowpass filter with an extended stopband can be created.
