TTE has continually designed and manufactured Active filters since it was established in 1956. These series of active filters are available for frequencies from 0.1Hz to 1MHz.
Also included is information on the EVO1 and EV02. These active filters are evaluation fixtures that match TTE active filter PCB cases.
Active filters include Bandpass, Highpass and Lowpass types. These are also available as low frequency diplexers.
The Bandpass filter product is a Butterworth topology.
The Highpass and Lowpass filter designs include Bessel, Butterworth and Chebyshev topologies.
Bessel filters exhibit a constant time delay in the passband of the filter.
Butterworth filters are more selective than Bessel filters and offer both monotonic passband and stopbands.
Chebyshev filters have a low ripple passband and monotonic stopbands. The passband ripple is 0.25dB typically.
All active filters are offered in PCB or connectorized cases.
TTE offers two evaluation fixtures which may be used as a permanent mounting platform or for testing.
Using highpass and lowpass filters on the EVO fixtures, one can create a wideband bandpass filter or a band rejection filter. Using lowpass filters connected in series a lowpass filter with an extended stopband can be created.
